Flower Transport Driver

What will you do?

As a Flower Transport Driver, you will work for a flower transport specialist and be responsible for the daily transport of fresh flowers from the growers to the auctions. You will make multiple trips per day, mainly within South and North Holland. The trips last an average of three hours and are perfectly planned so you can work efficiently. You will load and unload the flowers yourself using carts. At the end of each working day, you return home — no overnight stays.

• Transporting flowers from growers in Delfgauw to auctions;

• Independently loading and unloading using carts;

• Performing multiple trips per day within South and North Holland;

• Checking the cargo and ensuring a safe and tidy delivery;

• Working efficiently thanks to a well-organized schedule;

In this position, you will alternate weekly between day and night shifts. One week, you will work during the day from Monday to Friday, starting in the morning (around 07:00) and returning home by the end of the afternoon .

The following week, you will work night shifts from Sunday through Thursday. Would you prefer to work permanent night shifts only? This is also open for discussion. Your total working day will be approximately 9 to 12 hours.

What do we offer?

As a Flower Transport Driver, you will drive your own truck — fully customized to your taste with a €1,000 budget. Home every day, no overnight stays.

• Position between 40 and 55 hours per week;

• Gross monthly salary of D6 (€3,520.40) — can increase to €4,200 net through overtime and allowances;

• €1,000 budget for setting up your own cabin;

• Gross pension compensation between €80 - €50 per week;

• Accommodation allowance in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement for Goods Transport;

• Between 28 - 24 vacation days in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement for Goods Transport;

• 8% holiday pay;

• 3.5 ADV days, paid weekly on top of your salary;

• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer (between 10 - 35 kilometers);

• Pension scheme from the first working day;

• 130% overtime allowance;

• 150% Saturday work allowance;

• Always home after your working day — no overnight stays;

• Personal training budget for obtaining logistics courses;

• Friday afternoon drinks.

What do we expect from you?

As a Flower Transport Driver, you are an independent and motivated driver who takes responsibility for your cargo and cabin.

• Relevant work experience as a truck driver, preferably in flower transport or distribution transport;

• Holding a CE driver's license, code 95, and driver card;

• Good command of the Dutch and/or English language;

• Flexible and independent work attitude;

• Reliable, presentable, and motivated to deliver quality.
