Logistics Supervisor

What will you be doing?

In this logistics role of logistics supervisor, you will be responsible for daily supervision of dozens of logistics colleagues. As a logistics supervisor, you will monitor the operational flow, working closely with colleagues from other departments to ensure smooth logistics processes. This is a logistics leadership role where you do not work structurally and really focus on coordination. Your tasks as a logistics supervisor are as follows:

• Planning and organizing dock activities;

• Walking around the warehouse to ensure work distribution and actively observing which processes are not running smoothly at that moment;

• Creating an Action Plan so that identified bottlenecks can be resolved;

• Guiding logistics colleagues and supporting them in a coaching manner with errors and issues;

• Conducting recruitment and performance interviews for all internal and external colleagues;

• Occasionally assisting at the driver's counter;

• Supporting in (administrative) order processing;

• Continuously monitoring logistics processes to ensure orders leave the warehouse on time.

Your working days are consistently from Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays required. One week you start at 07:00, the other week you start at 09:00. You finish at 16:00 or 18:00, depending on your start time.

What do we expect from you?

As a logistics supervisor, we hope to find the following in you:

• You have relevant logistics experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse;

• You live in the vicinity of Dinteloord;

• You have a Driver's License B and own transportation;

• You are proficient in Dutch and/or English, both spoken and written;

• You have experience in identifying and implementing process improvements;

• You are a people manager and coach people through positive feedback;

• You are resilient, responsible, and solution-oriented;

• You have a proactive work attitude and take initiative where necessary;

• You have an accurate work attitude and can perform administrative tasks without issues.
